Ecologic village is defined as living areas where waste is evaluated on site in similar to perm-culture, targets sustainable natural and social life, provides development with agriculture and provides reverse internal immigration. Concept ecologic village is at the agenda of United Nations as the strongest model of the age. With this scope, it is possible to take measures for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions on energy, agriculture and waste matters. In this regard the following applications may be realized:Hot water and heating requirements in buildings may be ensured through application on building design with solar energy.Through composting, natural fertilizer may be produced from domestic wastes and by accumulating animal wastes and be produced in agricultural activities. In perm culture, it may be passed to sustainable agriculture application. It may be ensured that manufacturing is made without using chemical substance and damaging to natural structure of the village. From wastes of straw used in agriculture, straw bale may be made. Straw has usage easiness as construction material. By ensuring asStraw bale may be made from the straw residues used in agriculture. Straw has usage easiness as construction material. With straw bale, insulation of house and facade may be ensured, so heating and cooling may be provided.Septic tanks are used as small scaled wastewater treatment system. Methane gas arisen from anaerobic bacteria occurs in septic tanks. This methane gas which emerge from septic tanks may be used with the aim of producing energy.Activities of Mitigation/BenefitsThe benefits which are to be obtained with saving of energy usage and use of energy resources are as follows. Through houses with solar energy panel, heating and hot water requirements are met. With straw bale, it may be saved from fuel and energy to be used for heating of house and building With straw bale, it may be saved from energy to be used for cooling house and building. With straw bale, when usage life of house ends, mixing without giving damage to nature is ensured. The activities to be applied to assure mitigation in greenhouse gas emission and decrease of methane gas emission and the benefits are as stated below. With obtaining fertilizer by making composting, contribution is provided to agricultural activities. At the same time, sustainable agriculture is contributed. The energy obtained from septic tanks may be used in stoves and lambs.TimingThere is no cost for presented recommendations except for solar energy system. Investment cost for solar energy panel is 1,500-2,000 TL in average. Its return period is also between 5-7 years.Envisaged Cost and InvestorResponsible institution/organization/partiesGaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and related institutions | 01/20/2022 02:27:05 | |||
