Please provide details on the boundary of your plan, and where this differs from your city’s boundary, please provide an explanation.13Description of the stakeholder engagement processes1Climate adaptation coordination is being led by the City Executive Office but builds on cooperation between companies and administrations within the city organisation. The City Executive Office has been tasked by the municipal board to coordinate a "group of principals" focused on flood protection, with the purpose to cooperate and develop an overall plan for implementation of flood protection i cooperation with the administrations and communal companies responsible for spatial planning and construction. This group was created in June 2019. This group will also check in with other groups connected to the cities flood control and built environment, for example storm water measures and development of the waterfront. The City Executive Office has also been tasked as of the beginning of 2020 to work nationally to lobby for the state to finance these kinds of measures. The City Executive Office has initiated this work with relevant national agencies such as the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning , the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the Västra Götaland County Administrative Board, the National Expert Council on Climate Change Adaptation, among others. So far, these contacts have led to knowledge sharing and lobbying through networks, seminars and workshops. The ongoing pandemic has led to a halt in contacts with relevant ministries. Currently, there are no available funds in the form of stateside grants for municipalities working with climate change adaptation. The City Executive Office has, through The Gothenburg Region, initiated and developed a climate change adaptation network together with neighboring municipalities. The network, started in autumn 2018, provides a forum for knowledge sharing and cooperation between municipalities in the Gothenburg region.01/20/2022 02:27:05

Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and some regional councils.
When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
This view contains data from the CDP Cities Europe, CDP Cities Africa and CDP Cites Middle East Authority Regions.
