In 2019, Brighton and Hove had an estimated 10.5% of households living in fuel poverty, equating to 13,723 households in the city. 4.4% of houses in B&H are without central heating (Varies from 1% Woodingdean to 10.9% in Regency wards) When the outdoor temperature is below 8°C & indoor below 18°C, vulnerable people are at increased risk of: heart attack, stroke , flu, pneumonia, falls and injuries, hypothermia.
