Thereafter the stakeholders conducted a prioritisation exercise to identify the actions that are deemed to be realistic in terms of municipal capacity, feasible in terms of available budget and achievable by the NDC target year of 2030.It is important to note that in Nacala there is a significant lack of data, which means that it is only possible to calculate an estimation of the reduction in emissions, energy savings, and or renewable energy production once actions have been undertaken. As such, the actions that were selected by the Nacala stakeholders during the June and September workshops are those that will only support the city with moving towards achieving their emission reduction target.
