Investigate ways to enable homeowners and private housing providers to access funds to improve energy efficiency and renewable energy generation in private housing.Progress against this action – We are still awaiting the outcome of the Government consultation on raising minimum EPC standards in the domestic private rented sector. We have considered alternative options to improve conditions in the private rented sector (e.g. licensing conditions) but at present we are limited by statute. I In the meantime, funding secured and delivery underway for Phases 1a and 1b and 2 of Green Homes Grant LAD scheme (over £2m). Intention is to bid for Phase 3 funding which will cover January 2022 – March 2023. Continued to deliver the Wandsworth Winter Warmth Service, which targets households likely to be in need of affordable warmth. Continuing to work with NHS, energy providers and retrofit organisations to support those vulnerable to ill health from cold homes or effect of severe weather events.Wandsworth has joined Phase 4 of the Solar Together London scheme. We carried out analysis to determine which addresses in the borough had the greatest potential for solar generation and 18,685 households across Wandsworth were written to directly to let them know about the scheme. Wandsworth had the third highest number of residents agreeing to an installation in London, with 1,252 residents signing up to the scheme and 200 agreeing to an installation. Installations are currently taking place, with installations due to complete by October 2021. Total estimated emissions reduction is estimated at high, over 25% reduction in this area.Green Homes Grant:Phase 1A: £566,982 for Wandsworth Phase 1b:£548,000 Wandsworth. The amounts allocated under Phase 2 were :£990,469 for Wandsworth.01/20/2022 02:27:05
