Los asentamientos humanos y las características de los desarrollos que se han producido en las cercanías de los cuerpos de agua, han condicionado el uso de suelos de la zona, y han convertido a los afluentes como receptores de todo tipo de desechos (agroquímicos, residuos sólidos urbanos e industriales, efluentes pluviocloacales, entre otros). Para su recuperación, se han planteado acciones sobre la cuenca y bordes del arroyo Ludueña, contemplando intervenciones ambientales, urbanas y sociales, y que se desarrollan varias actualmente, y otras a futuro, llevadas adelante desde los distintos niveles de gobierno.Se proyecta un plan de obras a fin de controlar el agua. Se trata de una serie de estructuras de regulación a construirse en dicho arroyo. Las obras del arroyo Ludueña son similares a las existentes, y buscan retardar el flujo y disminuir el caudal en los cauces principales del arroyo y el canal Ibarlucea, con el objetivo de generar un almacenamiento y retener el agua en el cauce fluvial -en un espacio específico destinado a estos fines-, evitando así la inundación en un lugar indeseable y reduciendo el riesgo a la población. Para ello, se prevé la construcción de varias presas, así como, de una serie de obras en otros canales de los arroyos, regulaciones y dispositivos que buscan estabilizar los excedentes del sistema de los recursos hídricos, la rectificación de sus cauces, evitar los procesos de erosión o degradación, la capacidad de drenaje, inundaciones y afectación a la población.Estas intervenciones están orientadas a la recuperación de la calidad de estos cursos de agua y a la reducción de la vulnerabilidad de los recursos hídricos, y se encuentran enmarcadas en un enfoque integral de la gestión de las cuencas hidrográficas. Permitirán a su vez, reducir la contaminación generada por las aguas residuales no tratadas vertidas en los cursos de agua, recuperar áreas urbanas inundables, y generar una mejora ambiental por la recuperación de zonas degradadas.Igualmente, se plantea el fortalecimiento de los comités de cuenca, impulsando la articulación y colaboración entre los distintos actores que integran las localidades que los componen. Dichos espacios multisectoriales abordan la definición de políticas y medidas conjuntas para evitar inundaciones y desbordes de arroyos y canales que los atraviesan, en beneficio de las poblaciones del área. Se busca impulsar el ordenamiento de los usos de suelo a desarrollarse en el entorno de los cursos de agua e integrar la dinámica hídrica en la planificación urbana, y preservar los recursos naturales y paisajísticos y sus sitios de valor patrimonial. Además, se prevé incorporar en sus agendas la dimensión ambiental y social en la gestión del curso de agua. Para el desarrollo de la serie de estructuras de regulación hídrica de la cuenca del Ludueña se ha solicitado el presupuesto al gobierno provincial de Santa Fe -quienes tienen la competencia al respectoPara las cuencas del arroyo Ludueña y San Lorenzo, con obras definidas a nivel de factibilidad, la estimación de las inversiones. This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains the full responses of publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
