Descripción del programaEl proyecto EcoLogistics: Transporte de carga bajo en carbono para ciudades sustentables es financiado por la Iniciativa Internacional del Clima (IKI), del Ministerio Federal de Medio Ambiente, Protección de la Naturaleza y Seguridad Nuclear de Alemania (BMU) y ejecutado por ICLEI - Gobiernos Locales por la Sustentabilidad, con apoyo técnico de Despacio, Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) y Smart Freight Centre (SFC). La iniciativa apoya ciudades en Argentina, Colombia e India para desarrollar e implementar acciones sustentables en logística de carga urbana con la creación de capacidades de las partes interesadas. Las ciudades en Sudamérica son: Córdoba, Santa Fe y Rosario, en Argentina; y el Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá (AMVA), Bogotá y Manizales, en Colombia. Y en la India, las ciudades son Shimla, Panaji y Kochi.Tiene por objetivo promover políticas y prácticas de logística baja en carbono (EcoLogística) que contribuyan para la mitigación del cc y cumplan con las NDC de los países del proyecto. Se desarrollan varias líneas base de emisiones de GEI para el sector de logística urbana; planes de acción de logística urbana baja en carbono con objetivos, acciones y metas de reducción de GEI; y se implementan proyectos demostrativos para presentar el potencial de las estrategias del sector de logística de carga urbana en dicha la reducción de emisiones.
