Para manutenção e conservação, o departamento possui 24 (vinte e quatro) contratos com o valor mensal aproximado de R$ 1.935.000,00 (um milhão, novecentos e trinta e cinco mil reais). Para avaliar a qualidade de serviços prestados na manutenção das unidades de conservação, a fim de melhorar a infraestrutura desses equipamentos públicos e a acessibilidade desses espaços, foi criado e estabelecido o indicador de manutenção urbana pelo Departamento de Parques e Praças da Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente. De acordo com o padrão estabelecido, Curitiba pretende chegar a 90% de manutenção nas unidades de conservação da cidade até final de 2024. Outra ação da cidade é de dar continuidade à iniciativa "Plan for the Planet", desafio o qual envolveu o plantio de 100 mil árvores em um ano (link para endereço eletrônico), no qual o cidadão pode adquirir gratuitamente uma muda de uma espécie nativa e plantar na cidade de Curitiba, sob a orientação da Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente. O plantio de mudas contribui para a manutenção da arborização viária e de logradouros ou equipamentos públicos, para a recomposição de vegetação nativa em subbosques e matas cicliares, sejam em terrenos privados ou públicos. Após o atingimento da meta do projeto um mês antes do previsto (agosto de 2020), Curitiba estabelece uma nova meta de plantar 200 mil árvores até 2024. A fim de realizar o monitoramento dessas ações, a Secretaria Municipal também se comprometeu a elaborar um Plano de Arborização Urbana. Este plano inclui a atualização do censo arbóreo da cidade e o desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta para gestão da arborização, por meio de contratação empresa especializada em tecnologia da informação.01/20/2022 02:27:05
