El proyecto utiliza la agricultura regenerativa como una plataforma para promover la educación ambiental, la seguridad alimentaria, el sentido de comunidad, la salud física y mental, la seguridad comunal, la sostenibilidad y la resiliencia. A su vez, reactivará un espacio que ha estado en desuso por mucho tiempo y le dará un nuevo significado a lo que anteriormente fue un redondel en el cual se desarrollaban corridas de toros.El proyecto además, responde a la situación actual que presenta la pandemia global del COVID-19 y sus repercusiones en la zona, la cual por años ha dependido económicamente del turismo. Esta situación ha traído a la luz la importancia de diversificar las fuentes de ingreso de las familias y al mismo tiempo ofrecerles las herramientas para aprender a producir sus propios alimentos, un conocimiento ancestral que muchos hemos dejado atrás.En beneficio de los estudiantes de la Escuela Rafael Arguedas y la comunidad a la cual pertenecen se tienen los siguientes objetivos:-Apoyar la seguridad alimentaria de los estudiantes de la Escuela, sus familias y los vecinos de Cerro Plano.-Incrementar la seguridad del espacio y alrededor del Redondel.-Dar una oportunidad educativa para los estudiantes, sus familias, la comunidad y visitantes en temas de producción agrícola, permacultura, regeneración y resiliencia.-Apoyar la salud física y mental de los estudiantes y familias al salir de la casa, tener más contacto con la naturaleza, fomentar prácticas de nutrición saludable y el trabajo físico en la huerta.-Fortalecer el espíritu de comunidad y su resiliencia a cualquier desafío que enfrentan las familias de los estudiantes y otros vecinos.-Crear oportunidades para la sostenibilidad de este espacio que ha sido subutilizado.-Rehabilitar el redondel cómo anfiteatro, que se podría usar para actividades educacionales y culturales para la escuela, la comunidad y la zona.-Embellecer el espacio del redondel y sus alrededores, creando un espacio verde que los estudiantes, sus familias y otras personas en la comunidad puedan disfrutar.01/20/2022 02:27:05
