The Roadmap supports clean transportation, including walking, biking, public transportation, and a wide range of electric vehicles, with a focus on equitable and affordable access. This would translate to EVs being approximately 25% of vehicles in use within Berkeley by 2025, 55% by 2030, and 100% by 2045. However, these numbers could be offset by supporting clean alternatives to driving which could also reduce the total number of vehicles and provide co-benefits such as lower traffic congestion and healthy, active transportation, as well as reduced or eliminated GHG emissions.01/20/2022 02:27:05
