There have been two fog events reported in Ann Arbor between 1996 and 2013, although this is likely under-reported. There were no injuries, deaths, or damages associated with these events. Fog becomes damaging when it reduces visibility, resulting in vehicular crashes and flight delays. Because fog can form from several different reasons, it is difficult to determine the impact that a changing climate will have on fog frequency and intensity. This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains the full responses of publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
