Please provide details on the boundary of your assessment, and where this differs from your city’s boundary, please provide an explanation.9Please explain2El diseño y el proceso metodológico que se utilizó para formular el Plan de Acción Climática Municipal -PACMUN-, se basa en el método cualitativo y cuantitativo.Cualitativo, porque la información generada en el tema de adaptación, describe un cruce de información entre el trabajo que ha realizado el programa de Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres del ICC, para analizar la vulnerabilidad de la zona ante eventos climáticos en los últimos años y el trabajo que se realizó actualmente, donde de forma participativa, se analizó la vulnerabilidad de los medios de vida ante amenazas climáticas, con la finalidad de que los actores locales compartieran la realidad municipal y analizarán las condiciones climáticas que están afrontando y así determinar cuáles serán los ejes a trabajar para alcázar el desarrollo y la adaptación al cambio climático. Como una guía, se tomó de referencia las metodologías propuestas por Imbach 2015, e Imbach 2016 el cual describen/proponen una serie de pasos para la elaboración de las Estrategias Locales de Adaptación al Cambio Climático -ELACC-. Donde además, a esta metodología, se le adapto el componente de mitigación, de tal manera, el presente plan incluya los componentes de mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático Para realizar estos trabajos, se utilizaron distintas herramientas tales como; talleres de planificación, talleres participativos, grupos focales, entrevistas semiestructuradas. Por lo tanto, los resultados son de carácter orientador y su finalidad es aportar información básica integral y alentar la reflexión acerca de la situación actual de los medios de vida y las acciones que deben tomarse para adaptarse a las condiciones locales y futuras producto del cambio climático, de tal manera se construyan territorios resilientes ante el cambio climático. La parte cuantitativa, se refiere a la información generada en el Inventario de Gases de Efecto Invernadero -GEI- del municipio de Iztapa, ya que mediante estadística descriptiva,se presentan los resultados de la cantidad de GEI que el municipio está emitiendo, producto de las diferentes actividades y consumos que se realizan en el territorio. El inventario de GEI es el resultado del trabajo que realizó el ICC en el año 2018 con el apoyo del proyecto USAID/Desarrollo con bajas emisiones. A continuación en la figura dos, se presenta el marco metodológico que se utilizó para la elaboración del PACMUN.. Para la identificación de los medios de vida del municipio de Iztapa, y el análisis de vulnerabilidad ante amenazas climáticas, se organizaron dos talleres con las personas que integraron la plataforma de participación. El primer taller, consistió en que participativamente bajo percepción local, se identificaran los principales medios de vida, según las dos regiones en que se encuentra dividido el municipio. Luego se realizó el análisis de vulnerabilidad ante las amenazas climáticas de los medios de vida identificados, siguiendo la metodología propuesta por el IPCC (2006) para el análisis de vulnerabilidad ante el cambio climático.01/20/2022 02:27:05
