In Jesús María the first steps have been taken in this direction. However, GHG emissions associated with solid waste are still high. Taking the cyclical model of nature as an example, the circular economy is presented as a system of resource utilization where the reduction of elements takes precedence: minimizing production to the indispensable minimum, and when it is necessary to make use of the product, betting on the reuse of the elements that, due to their properties, cannot return to the environment. This dataset contains all public responses to the CDP-ICLEI 2021 Cities questionnaire. All data included in the dataset is self reported by cities. The reporting platform remains open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
