Emissions ReductionMitigation Actions5.4Describe the anticipated outcomes of the most impactful mitigation actions your city is currently undertaking; the total cost of the action and how much is being funded by the local government.12Action description and implementation progress3Antecedentes: el Proyecto Escuelas Solare de Renca, se enmarca en el 3er concurso de Inversión Energética Local de la Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética tiene por objetivo, promover el mercado de la inversión energética local, con un enfoque en el desarrollo de la generación distribuida a partir de las energías renovables y medidas de eficiencia energética, a través del financiamiento de proyectos de pequeña escala en los municipios del país, acercando la oferta de los proveedores a los requerimientos de la demanda energética.Descripción: en este contexto, y en conjunto con los lineamientos del Plan Local de Cambio Climático de Renca y la Estrategia Energética Local, la Ilustre Municipalidad de Renca presentó en conjunto con la institución privada Servicios de Energía Ciudad Luz SPA, el Proyecto “Escuelas Solares de Renca”, proyecto que contempló la instalación de sistemas fotovoltaicos en 3 colegios de la comuna, Escuela Lo Velázquez, Escuela Alejandro Gorostiaga y Escuela Padre Gustavo Le Paige, considerando un financiamiento vía modelo ESCO de venta de energía, esto mediante la utilización del concepto de copropiedad bajo el marco de la ley 21.118, que permite la inyección del excedente de energía entre los establecimientos de la misma red, ayudando de este modo a disminuir las cuentas energéticas en aquellos establecimientos que cuentan con espacios reducido o no tienen factibilidad técnica para la instalación de sistemas fotovoltaicos en la comuna.Este modelo contempla un elemento de innovación, el cual consiste en la aplicación del reglamento de la nueva ley 21.118, referente a la copropiedad de sistemas de generación y el reparto de las inyecciones excedentes generadas por el sistema. Esto permite la creación de una red virtual de inyecciones, repartiendo el excedente de energía en los establecimientos administrados por la Corporación Municipal de Renca.Estas escuelas fueron elegidas tras un proceso de revisión de condiciones de factibilidad, además de contar con cubiertas que fueron cambiadas hace poco tiempo, junto con tener sistemas de climatización eléctricos, los cuales tienen una gran sinergia con sistemas de generación fotovoltaica.Cada establecimiento tendrá una potencia instalada de 28,8 kWp, totalizando 86,4 kWp, lo que implica un ahorro energético anual de la implementación del proyecto de 164.700 Kwh/año, equivalente a la reducción de CO2, de 110.4 Ton CO2/año, y un beneficio económico anual previsto en $9.183.344.Las motivaciones del proyecto al incorporar energías renovables no convencionales se encuadran dentro de los lineamientos específicos de implementar estas tecnologías en la Estrategia Energética Local, el Plan Local de Cambio Climático y avanzar en los objetivos de reducir la huella de carbono municipal, que con este proyecto alcanzará las 110,4 Ton CO2eq año por las 3 escuelas públicas beneficiadas.Actores involucrados:● Municipalidad de Renca: contraparte técnica del proyecto y coordinación con actores partícipes.● Corporación de Educación: beneficiario directos a través de los centros de educación paraimplementar iniciativas.● Ciudad Luz: responsable directo por la ejecución de la iniciativa.● Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética: entrega del financiamiento para la ejecución de la iniciativay contraparte técnica del proyecto.Objetivo general: Instalación de sistemas solares fotovoltaicos considerando un modelo ESCO de venta de energía, utilización del concepto de copropiedad bajo el marco de la ley 21.118, lo que favorece a la disminución de costos totales para la corporación municipal de Renca, pudiendo destinar fondos a otras partes de la comunidad educativa.
