The project is really a group of projects that would work to evaluate the locations best suited in Evanston for different stormwater infrastructure such as detention, green infrastructure and relief systems. With that data in hand we would then be able to subsequently identify the properties most likely to be impacted by different precipitation events and which properties may be least equipped to respond to those events. With that knowledge in hand the City could prioritize both public and private investment in stormwater and flooding mitigation strategies to reduce the overall risk of flooding throughout the community but focus on those who will be most impacted.10000000050000000

If your city does not have any relevant projects, please select 'No relevant projects' under 'Project Area'1Waste managementPre-feasibility/impact assessmentProject partially funded and seeking additional fundingWaste waste treatment facility project. Puerto Princesa City is a major tourist destination and currently has an undeveloped wastewater treatment system. At present, there is no existing sewerage facilities provided for public use. In many parts of the urban area open canals and creeks serve as drainage/ sewage outfall. Wastewater is discharged in to the ground or open canals and existing drainage lines. In most residential and commercial areas, wastewater is treated in septic tanks before they are discharged through the storm drains or by infiltration. Toilet wastes are directed to septic tanks and effluent is usually discharged into an absorption pit and surplus flows may find their way into the drainage system. Sullage water, kitchen, laundry and bathroom wastewater is discharged into the existing drainage system. There are no facilities at present for regular desludging of septic tanks; so it is not clear how many of the existing septic tanks are actually working. Also, seafront property wastewater is discharged directly into the sea. This approach to wastewater may lead potentially serious problems in the surrounding sea and bay areas (e.g. Puerto Princesa Bay and Honda Bay), so important to the City’s tourism industry. Clearly, there is a concern on septic tank effluent and sullage discharges into the drainage systems leading to unsanitary conditions. There is a need to adopt an appropriate facility on domestic waste water treatment before disposal to public drainage. A provision for a wastewater treatment facility could improve the health, environment, and sanitary conditions of the urban area residents. Pollutant loadings will also be attenuated thereby improving the ecological condition of the receiving water bodies.40000003000000
