Los efectos de dichas inundaciones en la infraestructura son igualmente evidentes y costosos: las carreteras y vías de comunicación inundadas, ríos desbordados o deslaves han dejado a decenas de miles de familias y negocios sin actividad por días.La producción de alimentos ha sido una característica histórica vinculada con el bienestar y el capital económico de la entidad, sinembargo, en el siglo XXI ha manifestado caída por diversas causas.
