Thus, the Phichit Municipality has implemented intensive disese preventive and control measures, including rolling out provincial laws specifically for dengue fever, encouraging home owners to eliminate sources of mosquito larvae and dispatching personnel to get rid of breeding ground for the insect's larvae in community areas. The intensive measures resulted in a sharp drop of dengue fever cases.

The rise on dengue fever cases has prompted the Phichit Municipalty to deploy teams to spray repellent to kill mosquitoes with a higher budget allocated for mitigating this disease. In terms of medical facilities, more medical staff are deployed to look after patients while the education institutions have rolled out intensive measures to control the spread of a dengue fever among students.
