Dentro de esta sección se resumen los resultados obtenidos de este inventario, las metodologías utilizadas para la obtención de los resultados por sector y su distribución por fuente.Las emisiones netas, que incluyen las emisiones de GEI en el año 2016, sumaron un total de 5,714,400 tCO2e. En la Figura 25, se muestra la contribución de gases de efecto invernadero por sector, las cuales se dividen de la siguiente manera: el sector [1] Energía Estacionaria con un 36.8% (2,100,231 tCO2e), [2] Transporte con un 52.6% (3,008,274 tCO2e), y por último, [3] Residuos con el 10.6% (605,895 tCO2e).
