Seguido da los objetivos que el distrito debe alcanzar y cómo hacerlo, algunos de estos objetivos se enmarcan en los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible, asegurando los servicios básicos adecuados, y sensibilización siempre enmarcada en las buenas prácticas ambientales como la minimización, el reciclaje, entre otras y como estas reducen el impacto del cambio climático. El Plan de Prevención y Reducción del Riesgos de Desastres del Distrito se enmarca ampliamente en 3 lineamientos, entre los cuales se menciona a los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible. El plan es parte integral del desarrollo sostenible, comprende un conjunto de actividades que articula tanto la planificación como la coordinación en la evaluación de peligros, calculando y brindando las opiniones necesarias para reducir los impactos negativos a mediano y largo plazo.

Para enfrentar los riesgos asociados, es necesario difundir información a través de charlas especializadas, dirigidas a profesionales, especialistas, miembros de academia y ciudadanos en general.En ese sentido, se asumió el compromiso de desarrollar eventos académicos en los que se desarrollaron y explicaron el enfoque de resiliencia y adaptación al cambio climático. Además, que se ha participado en el equipo técnico para la elaboración del Plan de Prevención y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres de Miraflores 2020-2022, en el cual se han logra incorporar objetivos estratégicos que contemplan la adaptación al cambio climático.Además, uno de los espacios generados para el dialogo de las diferentes medidas para la adaptación al cambio climático son las reuniones que se tienen en el marco de la Comisión Ambiental Municipal - CAM.

Adaptation3.3Please describe the main goals of your city’s adaptation efforts and the metrics / KPIs for each goal.4Description of metric / indicator used to track goal2La municipalidad de Miraflores viene gestionando la creación del Parque Bicentenario, el cual será una obra en un terreno de 3.8 hectáreas, en las que se sembrará 170,000 plantas de la costa peruana que se caracterizan por consumir poca agua; además este nuevo espacio público de la ciudad contará con un hermoso Jardín Botánico y un mirador para apreciar en todo su esplendor el mar del pacífico y las magníficas puestas de sol, serán un gran atractivo urbano que revalorizará principalmente al distrito.Los beneficiarios directos está compuesto por los niños jóvenes y adultos, quienes demandan espacios de recreación pasiva en el distrito, para el fomento de estilo de vida saludable que permitan generar sinergias de amistad, valores aprendizajes, mediante el desarrollo de las actividades, charlas paseos, intercambios de experiencias entre otros, que tendrán temáticas ambientales, para que puedan conocer la diversidad de flora que alberga el parque bicentenario y como cada especie cumple un papel fundamental en el equilibrio de nuestro ambiente.El proyecto comprende mejorar las condiciones físicos ambientales y funcionales de la ladera de la quebrada de Armendáriz. Se intervendrá con un máximo de 15% del área para caminos y plataformas y 85% para albergar superficies o especies vegetales, mediante el aprovechamiento de las especies existentes sobre parte del talud y la generación de terrazas o plataformas.Con estas nuevas áreas verdes incrementaríamos en un 2.65% el área verde per cápita para la población del distrito de miraflores, lo que lograría una mejora en la calidad de aire y en la calidad de vida de nuestros vecinos.El contar con un jardín botánico dentro del distrito logrará que muchos de nuestros vecinos y visitantes conozcan la diversidad biológica, especies y variedades de plantas, los jardines botánicos son colecciones importantes de plantas vivas para investigación, estudio, educación; pero principalmente, para conservación. Es importante que los ciudadanos sepan el rol que tienen como agentes de cambio frente al ambiente; por ello, se brindará información de las especies y el cuidado que se debe tener con ellas.
