La categoría se subdivide en dos principales fuentes de emisión: el consumo decombustibles fósiles y las emisiones fugitivas ocurridas en las industrias de petróleo, gas y laminería del carbón.El caso ad de Mérida es diferente, pues se considera el consumo final de energía ypor generación de electricidad, ya que en el municipio no existen actividades de exploración,producción o refinación de petróleo, de venta o quema de petróleo o gas en plataformas uotras instalaciones, ni se desarrollan actividades de minería de carbón.Se consideran dentro del sector de consumo final de energía, los siguientes subsectores: Industrial y comercial, Edificios Residenciales, Alumbrado Público, Agricultura, Bombeo de aguaDe los cuales, la información obtenida se contempla en MWh, utilizando el factor de emisióndel año 2016 de acuerdo al Registro Nacional de Emisiones (RENE), y que sigue las directricesdel IPCC (2006), que sirve como herramienta de estimación de TonCO2eq. El método sectorial contempla tres sectores para Mérida, por lo que se realiza el análisis del consumo final de energía, transporte y desechos, los cuales consideran subsectores que contribuyen al cálculo de emisiones generadas en el municipio.Los cálculos en este método consisten en identificar los consumos de combustibles enfuentes móviles y fijas que ocurren en los distintos sectores y obtener las emisiones de CO2,donde los factores de emisión dependen principalmente del contenido de carbono delcombustible. Considerando que se manejan datos obtenidos, de los cuales resultan emisionesen TonCO2eq, los cuales son considerados de Nivel 2 de acuerdo a las directrices del GPC, almanejar factores de emisiones a nivel nacional (RENE). En este caso, se contempla dentro del consumo final de energía las actividades desempeñadas en el sector industrial y comercial,edificios residenciales, alumbrado público, agricultura y bombeo de agua. | ||
