Esta área incluye mejores condiciones que favorecen la movilidad peatonal y regulan el flujo vehicular, desincentivando su uso. Además, supone una mejora en la infraestructura urbana: nivelación de calzadas, recuperación de veredas, mejoras en la iluminación de las calles, instalación de estacionamientos para bicicletas y paradas de colectivos y la colocación de nuevos canteros, bancos y luminarias. También reconfigura el espacio destinado al tránsito peatonal, lo que fortalece la diversidad de actividades y promueve su función social como lugar de encuentro. Ley N°5786 - CABA.
