Dada la carencia de planificación técnica en el municipio; la gestión de residuos, la regularización vehicular o de emisiones, la industria y las malas prácticas agrícolas han establecido en estas comunidades condiciones donde los habitantes han normalizado la quema y/o producción de cantidades considerables de partículas suspendidas mediante actividades de incineración de residuos o mal estado de vehículos. El crecimiento demográfico, los modelos de consumo y la permanencia de condiciones adversa en lo socio-cultural y económico incrementaran las enfermedades respiratorias en los grupos vulnerables.
