14653844185Suwon CityRepublic of KoreaEast Asia10.4Provide information on GHG emissions from the transport sector.3Comment1Passenger Transport: Private carsEmissions from the transport sector are calculated as tier 2 based on the amount of fuel sold in the city. Even the minimum classification criteria cannot distinguish the emission data required by the CDP. Emission data calculated in tier 3 can be provided, but it is not used because it is different from the emission data reported in "4. City-wide Emissions".

If you drive an old diesel vehicle during this period, a fine of 100,000 won ($100) will be imposed. We are gradually reducing the number of old diesel vehicles by restricting the operation in winter when the concentration of fine dust is high, and we are encouraging citizen participation by attaching a smoke reduction device or supporting the cost of early scrapping.
