Climate Hazards and Vulnerability2.1Please list the most significant climate hazards faced by your city and indicate the probability and consequence of these hazards, as well as the expected future change in frequency and intensity. Please also select the most relevant assets or services that are affected by the climate hazard and provide a description of the impact.12Please describe the impacts experienced so far, and how you expect the hazard to impact in the future1The city of Yogyakarta is drained by 3 major rivers, namely the Code River, Gajah Wong River, and Winongo River and Manunggal River makes a high vulnerability to inundation, especially if the river is overflowing. High intensity rainfall for a long time can result in settlements in the banks of the river are flooded, especially if in the upper reaches of the rivers they also experience heavy rain.the presence of Mount Merapi also affects the volume of river water. Mount Merapi eruption caused cold lava floods to flow in the river. around the river code is a densely populated settlement, so that when there is a cold lava flood from Mount Merapi, of course it will endanger the residents who live around the river.

Climate Hazards and Vulnerability2.2Please identify and describe the factors that most greatly affect your city’s ability to adapt to climate change and indicate how those factors either support or challenge this ability.4Please describe how the factor supports or challenges the adaptive capacity of your city1The lack of optimal control of space utilization is likely caused by still notthe optimal agency that handles Spatial and Land Affairs has just stood, so it's stilltime is needed to make this agency produce optimal spatial policies. On a national scale, the 2015-2019 RPJMN also lists the need for increased availabilityeffective and harmonious spatial regulation through the role and cooperation of several cross-sectoral agencies. In order to realize sustainable urban development, spatial planning is neededin accordance with the carrying capacity of the region. Special agency roles that handle controlspace utilization is expected to be able to focus on spatial planning issues. Sustainable cityis a city that is able to function in accordance with the capabilities of its territory, reflected by meansadequate urban infrastructure, smooth transportation and traffic, and environmental quality standardsgood and balanced housing and urban. Availability of specialized institutions to deal withspatial planning is expected to be able to deal with problems in the form of land conversion, limited public space, green open space and land use that is not in accordance with regional functions so that it will not becomebasic problems in cities for future planning.

15245054335Government of the City of YogyakartaIndonesiaSoutheast Asia and Oceania4. City-wide Emissions4.3Please give the name of the primary protocol, standard, or methodology you have used to calculate your city’s city-wide GHG emissions.2Comment1Emissions methodologyThere are 4 main components in the emissions inventory, namely: sources of emissions, emission activity data, emission factors and emission parameters / variables inventoried. For GHG inventories the emission variables will vary from source to source: carbondiokasida, methane and dinitrogen dioxide. Sources of emissions are the main activities or activities of the community that have the potential to contribute to emissions, especially in large quantities and are typical activities in a region. In general, the formula for calculating GHG emissions is as follows: E = AD x efE = Emission burden borne by the region for a certain period (tons / year)AD = Activity data from emission sources (adjust)ef = Emission factor (adjust)
