El convenio está en proceso de firma, sin embargo ya se está implementando el proyecto. Está en proceso de firma un convenio con una empresa encargada de realizar biocombustible, a través de la implementación de contenedores de recolección de aceite en mercados municipales. Aun no se lleva a cabo este proyecto, pero ya se tiene contemplada. Con la colaboración de Teatro en Bici A.C., se realizan diferentes tianguis del recicle en diferentes fechas y diferentes zonas del municipio, ellos se encargan de recolectar diferentes tipos de residuos, y se realiza una promoción de productos ecológicos, así como diferentes actividades ambientales. Una asociación civil dedicada a la recolección de medicamentos, Singren, pone puntos de acopio de medicamentos caducos, se trabaja en conjunto con ellos para facilitar la implementación de contenedores en puntos como hospitales municipales, y cruz verdes de el municipio.

Con la empresa Oracle, además de participar en la competencia, donaron parte de un terreno para la construcción de una ciclovía.

El proyecto se realiza en conjunto con la organización Isla Urbana y consiste en instalar un sistema de captación y almacenamiento del líquido. En una primera etapa el programa llegará a 600 hogares en la zona de Las Mesas. Con esta estrategia se busca disminuir las afectaciones por la crisis de desabasto de agua que Jalisco ha sufrido en los últimos meses. Se estima que para la segunda etapa del programa el sistema pueda ser instalado en 7 mil viviendas.
