To properly contribute to the Paris Agreement the city of Gothenburg should be reducing its own emissions in an even quicker pace. The goal is to reduce the production based emissions by 10.3% per year and the consumption based emissions by 7.6% per year. By achieving the goals listed here the city of Gothenburg is well on its way to do its part in the global challenge that is climate change mitigation.
