The population dataset is point data as of 1.1.2021.The polygons are based on 0-500m distance along street network from rail-based stations (T-bane and passenger railway) and high-frequency bus stations, as of 2018. The polygons also include "indre by" - the inner city area of Oslo. There is a probability that a small proportion of the population living in "indre by" is not within a 500m distance from a mass transit station. For comparisson, an equivalent proportion of people living within these zones in 2019 was 74,2 % (503,780 of 678,575).
