Description
CDP has created a 'clean & complete dataset' for the 2015 Carbon Action sample of companies - a group of the highest emitting public companies from the most energy-intensive industries. The full dataset covers Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from 2009-2014 and 10 Categories of Scope 3 emissions for the most recent accounting year (excluded from this public dataset). Production involved applying methods for the quality assessment of self-reported data and integration of CSR report data, as well as the development and application of models to estimate emissions for companies that do not report them. This public dataset represents a subset of industries, companies and years of the full version. All users can interact with estimates and model details. The full dataset is freely available to CDP's investor signatories or can be purchased by others. The full Methodology and a selection of models can be accessed from https://www.cdp.net/en-US/Programmes/Pages/ghg-emissions-dataset.aspx
