Housing 50% of the world’s population, cities are particularly vulnerable to climate change impacts. In 2017, some 380 cities disclosed their adaptation actions through CDP. Explore how these cities are building resilience to environmental impacts.

This dataset contains public data on cities adaptation actions, as reported by cities and local authorities through CDP-ICLEI Track in 2023. The platform remains open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.

This data is collected through CDP-ICLEI Track. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.

This dataset contains all climate adaptation actions disclosed publicly by cities in 2018.

This dataset contains responses by Regions4 members to questions on adaptation actions in the 2021 CDP States and Regions Questionnaire.
