This dataset contains public data on cities' emissions reduction actions in 2023, as reported by cities and local authorities through CDP-ICLEI Track. Emissions reduction targets for all reporting cities in 2014. Includes baseline emissions, baseline year, percentage reduction target, and other details. Some cities report multiple targets.

In 2016, over 3,000 mitigation actions were disclosed. Cities are taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in cities. Activities are tagged by sector and cities provide detailed descriptions of each activity. Some cities also provide estimates of the total anticipated lifetime emissions that will be reduced from each activity.
