Complete open data set for companies that responded to the 2014 water questionnaire.

Through our investor initiative we target the largest listed companies in the world, as determined by market capitalization, in sectors for which water is a material issue. We currently cover the Global 500, S&P 500 and FTSE 100 indices as well as the largest companies in Australia, Japan and South Africa.

Water is also incorporated into CDP’s supply chain program. In this initiative, large multinational companies (our Supply Chain Members) issue CDP’s water questionnaire to a number of their suppliers. This exercise allows companies to investigate the water risk in their supply chain and gather vital information about water use outside their direct operations.

This year, we have invited approximately 2,300 companies to respond to CDP’s water questionnaire through our investor and supply chain initiatives. This data set excludes private responders.

This dataset contains cities' responses to the 2022 CDP Cities Questionnaire. All data included in the dataset is self reported by cities. Please note that the reporting platform remains open for submissions until the end of the year; the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions. Guidance on how to read this dataset is available in the Open Data Portal User Guide (under Explore in the header bar). Please note that this dataset exceeds the capacity for Excel. To export the data to Excel, the dataset has been separated into three files. This dataset lists all cities that have disclosed to CDP in 2019.

This dataset outlines the city-wide emissions including a breakdown of the gases as well as the overall changes in the emissions reported. Please contact cities@cdp.net for further information on the breakdown of emissions under this protocol and on how to use this data.

CDP’s forests program targets the largest companies globally, collecting data on their management of deforestation risk through the lens of key agricultural drivers of deforestation (timber, palm oil, soy, cattle products & biofuels). In 2015, 700 companies are requested to respond to the program. The request is issued on behalf of 298 investor signatories with $19 trillion in assets.

Dataset of risk data from respondents to CDP’s forests program in 2013 and 2014. Includes data on company risk assessment processes, as well as the reputational, regulatory and operational risks they identified. This dataset excludes private responders.

Please note that not all companies report on all forest risk commodities. This may be due to the company submitting a partial disclosure or because only a limited number of the commodities are relevant to their business.

Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 482 of the largest 500 companies in the world by market capitalization. Also contains CDP response status. The dataset includes information on a company's sector, country and response status as well as the ticker symbol and ISIN number. For disclosing companies, information includes CDP Disclosure and Performance scores.
