This dataset contains summary information about cities that are signatory to the European Covenant of Mayors that responded publicly to the CDP-ICLEI questionnaire in 2020. To view the responses of these cities, please see the dataset titled 'Complete 2020 European Covenant Cities - Responses'.

This dataset contains self-reported data on city-wide emissions disclosed by cities in 2023. Data is drawn from section 2.1 in the Cities 2023 questionnaire. This data is collected through CDP-ICLEI Track. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’. The dataset includes data reported by the following cities:
