For disclosing companies, information includes CDP Disclosure and Performance scores.

Electricity mix statistics for 133 cities, reported by cities in 2015.

This dataset contains self-reported data on city-wide emissions disclosed by cities in 2023. Data is drawn from section 2.1 in the Cities 2023 questionnaire. This data is collected through CDP-ICLEI Track. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’. CDP’s forests program targets the largest companies globally, collecting data on their management of deforestation risk through the lens of key agricultural drivers of deforestation (timber, palm oil, soy, cattle products & biofuels). In 2015, 700 companies are requested to respond to the program. The request is issued on behalf of 298 investor signatories with $19 trillion in assets.

Dataset of risk data from respondents to CDP’s forests program in 2013 and 2014. Includes data on company risk assessment processes, as well as the reputational, regulatory and operational risks they identified. This dataset excludes private responders.

Please note that not all companies report on all forest risk commodities. This may be due to the company submitting a partial disclosure or because only a limited number of the commodities are relevant to their business.

In 2017, Over 120 cities used the Global Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventories (GPC) methodology to calculate their emissions. This is a 70% increase on the previous year. Explore cities emissions inventory data to better understand what cities are managing.

This line chart visualizes 3 different degree scenarios (2°C, 4°C & 6°C) from 2010 to 2050 modeled using CDP and IEA ETP 2014 data alongside a target scenario that tracks Compact of States and Regions targets. Analysis is based on the 43 of 62 governments with region-wide GHG targets and inventories that have joined the Compact of States and Regions.
The scenarios reflect the following:
- 6DS: reflects a ‘business as usual’ projection that doesn't include national or state and regional commitments to reduce emissions;
- 4DS: reflects a 'reference case' projection that includes pre-2012 national commitments to reduce emissions;
- 2DS: reflects the pathway to implement a sustainable energy system in line with a 2° world; and,
- CTS: reflects state and regional commitments to reduce emissions.
