This dataset contains public responses to question 5.0c in the Cities 2021 questionnaire, that were submitted on or before 13th August 2021.

This dataset contains self-reported data on city-wide emissions disclosed by cities in 2023. Data is drawn from section 2.1 in the Cities 2023 questionnaire. This data is collected through CDP-ICLEI Track. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’. This dataset contains the full 2021 data for European Covenant of Mayors cities reporting through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System in 2021.

This dataset contains names of cities, states and regions that reported in 2023. Please note that the reporting platform remains open for submissions until the end of the year and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
