Annual city-wide emissions for more than 100 global cities. Includes information about how cities measured emissions (primary protocol), as well as why emissions rose/fell since prior reporting period.

In 2016, 397 cities reported that climate change does present an economic opportunity and identified over 1,000 opportunities. 270 of these cities identified the development of new business industries, such as clean tech, as an opportunity.

This dataset contains 2022 data for states and regions. All data included in the dataset is self reported by states and regions through the 2022 States and Regions Questionnaire. Please note that the reporting platform remains open for submissions until the end of the year and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.

This dataset contains self-reported data on city-wide emissions disclosed by cities in 2022. Data is drawn from section 2.1 in the Cities 2022 questionnaire. Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 398 of the largest 500 companies in the world by market capitalization. Also contains CDP response status. The dataset includes information on a company's sector, country and response status as well as the ticker symbol and ISIN number. For disclosing companies, information includes CDP Disclosure and Performance scores.
