We’re delighted to announce that in 2017 we’ve seen a ten-fold increase in the number of cities disclosing their activity from six years ago, with a 20-fold increase in the number of climate actions underway. A tipping point is emerging, as cities increasingly recognize sustainability investments as essential to creating jobs and making their cities more attractive places to live and work.

Housing 50% of the world’s population, cities are particularly vulnerable to climate change impacts. In 2017, some 370 cities disclosed their adaptation actions through CDP. Explore how these cities are building resilience to environmental impacts.

This dataset provides detailed responses of all cities reporting to CDP in 2019 that are members of the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCOM). For a summary of the cities reporting, please refer to the dataset titled GCOM Cities Summary 25th Sept 2019.

This dataset contains 2022 data on cities' collaboration with government, business and civil society on climate-related issues. All data was self reported by cities through CDP-ICLEI Track in 2022.
