This dataset contains 2022 data on cities' plans to address energy access and/or poverty within their jurisdiction. All data was self reported by cities through CDP-ICLEI Track in 2022. In 2016, cities reported over 2,000 climate hazards that are impacting their cities. Globally, cities are reporting that health and community will be most impacted by climate change.

This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and 5 American regional councils, which are: Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus; Denver Regional Council of Governments; Metropolitan Council, Twin Cities; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and Mid-America Regional Council.

This dataset contains 2021 data on cities' water resources management strategies. The data was reported by cities through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System in 2021 in response to question 14.4a - "Please provide more information on your city’s public Water Resource Management strategy" - in the 2021 CDP Cities questionnaire.
