The data is held in an Excel workbook. Clicking on the 'Download' button will cause this file to be downloaded to your machine. The Excel workbook was created through Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2301).

The Excel workbook contains multiple tabs. The first tab labelled 'Summary Data' contains a list of all states and regions featured in this dataset, while the remaining tabs contain data for each question of the States and Regions 2022 Questionnaire.

This dataset contains the complete list of states and regions that reported through CDP in response to the 2021 States and Regions questionnaire.

This visualisation shows the number of cities, states and regions reporting in 2022, disaggregated by the overall number of times each city, state or region has reported.

Please note that the reporting platform remains open for submissions until the end of the year and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.

The Cities data is collected through CDP-ICLEI Track. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
